Forsyth County authorities say they are investigating an incident that occurred Tuesday morning at a Winston-Salem high school.
According to a joint statement from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and the Winston-Salem Police Department, there is no threat to the community following the incident at North Forsyth High School.
Officials said families have been notified, and the school district will provide additional updates as they become available.
A news conference was scheduled for 2 p.m.
