Anthony Joshua Knocks Out Jake Paul in Round 6, Paul Suffers Broken Jaw

Anthony Joshua delivered a thunderous right hand to Jake Paul on Friday night, knocking out the former YouTuber in Round 6 and ending the bout in emphatic fashion. The punch was so devastating that even Paul appeared stunned by its power, mouthing “Wowwwwww” as he sat on the canvas.

There was good reason for the reaction.

Shortly after the fight, Paul shared a photo of an X-ray on X (formerly Twitter), revealing the extent of the damage. “Double broken jaw,” he wrote, adding sarcastically, “Give me Canelo in 10 days.”

The post was clearly tongue-in-cheek. A showdown with boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez is not on the horizon—certainly not in 10 days, and likely not at all—especially given the severity of Paul’s injuries.

Jake’s brother, WWE star Logan Paul, also weighed in on social media, praising his sibling’s toughness and resilience. He referred to Jake as “an absolute warrior,” acknowledging the grit it took to step into the ring against a former heavyweight world champion.

While the loss was decisive, Paul’s willingness to face elite-level opposition continues to draw attention, even as the gap between influencer boxing and the sport’s highest level remains glaringly clear.
